Here are pictures of a Weil-Mclain boiler,before and after.
Pictures#380,382,383,378, were installed by contractor,who goes by the name "Expert Heating"
Pictures# 411,412,413,414,are what it look like after we repiped the boiler,and the return lines.

Am I missing something....looks like a steam boiler with the LWCO and auto feeder, seem to see gauge glass knobs...an expansion tank????? Is it just the angle of your photos or the "expert"???!!!???

I was wondering
what happened to this one. I remember it from a few weeks ago on the wall. Not to be a critic, but if the pump and related piping I see on the return pipe is for a vacuum loop, I don't see how you are going to exchange much hot boiler water to this loop. It is best if the supply to a vacuum loop leaves the boiler high below the NWL and returns low on the opposite corner of the boiler. Nice salvage though! Thanks for caring enough to make things right! Expansion tank on a steam boiler.........hmmmmm.........what were they thinking? Just my thoughts.

Taco pump
That pump is a zone for cast iron radiators in the basement,which is below the water line.0
