What is the model # ? and do you have a tankless water heater? Sounds like it could just be a tankless gasket leaking maybe. Anything is possible but I have never seen one leak like you said it is. Also on warrenty's never have had problems with M/W.

leaking weil mclain boiler
my heating man tells me that my boiler has a leak by the hindge that holds the door on . it is only 8 years old .he tells me that he has seen this before and that i should replace the boiler .he also says that the mclain company gives him a hard time om warranty .can anybody help as a new boiler will cost a bundle. thanks0 -
Leaky WM
I've had two WGO boilers with cracks next to the hinge (I no longer install WM). The last one was just two weeks ago; had been installed for 8 years. WM admitted to a design flaw and sent us new boiler (without burner) at no charge. We billed the HO for installation.

i too had one leak there as well, although i still use um. three years old and they made good for it.0 -
weil
I had a weil die after six years and they sent me a new one . I paid for the install.0 -
I've replaced one
and they didn't give me a hard time. I think the front section is heavier on series 3 (at least in that area.)
