over-active radiator air vent?
the air vent on the first radiator (bedroom) on our single-pipe, third floor system is opening/closing in rapid succession (open one second, closed one second, on and on for a half-hour, particularly on system start-up (good morning!). the vent on next radiator (smaller bathroom) has an adjustable air vent (set to "1") and is always quiet. both radiators heat well and almost simultaneously. we have some banging in the bedroom as well, mostly at start-up. is the "lazy" bathroom air vent forcing the bedroom air vent to work harder/noisier?0
