Little space for steam radiator - what are options?

I am in the process of redesigning a bathroom which has little room to spare. I have a single pipe steam system and the room currently has a small radiator (about 20" wide by 28" high)which heats the room fine. The room is going to enlarge by about 18sf but I will have little if any room to remount even this little radiator. What are the other options?
Is there such a thing as a steam-fed toe kick heater? From reading on this site it sounds like radiant heat fed from the condensate is doable but fairly complex (i.e. expensive). I'll have some wall space, but not a lot. I noticed an earlier posting of a home-made radiator made of cast iron pipe. Is doing something like that a good idea? How do I calculate how big to make it?
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Is the toilet on the same side as the rad piping? How about a CI BB rad behind it? Should be abe to get at least a 2ft section back there. Keeps the porcelain toasty warm.0 -
well ya' know...
most steam rads were designed larger than needed w/o any insulation in the walls...if you insulate well and change the rad vent on it to stay open longer I'll bet you will be ok. As to the kick space steam..no none made.kpc

Why not try
a short piece of cast-iron baseboard?

Why not put
electric radiant heating under the floor. It will have its own thermostat.0 -
Tub
How about sliding a CI baseboard behind the cast iron tub, should you have one. Greg their was a recent posting where a guy used a piece of 2 1/2" by 2 ft piece of black pipe and build his own rad maybe something like that would work for you.Best Wishes J.Lockard0
