New International Fuel Gas Code Book 2003
this is the code we use here in Rhode Island. Are any other states using this code? The new book reflects all of the changes made to NFPA 54 National Fuel Gas Code. I purchased the loose leaf version, I find it much easier to use that way.
It can be purchased by calling Building News at 1-888-264-2665 and ask for catalog # 3600L03 Loose Leaf $60.00 or
catalog # 3600S03 Soft Cover $52.00. They are also found at www.bnibooks.com.

thanks
Tim,
was just wondering where to get the code book. although we don't use it here, it has so much useful information I can use.0 -
Probably one of the smartest things code writing bodies
did was go to 8-1/2" x 11" page format. All codes I know of are available in normal paper size, from the I-codes, NEC and others. Then, offering a loose leaf copy comes in so handy also. We use the NFPA 54, except for the one or two occasions where local AHJ is under IMC or UMC. The differences are typically minor and normally easily discussed. Greg0 -
we just adopted this code in nj not to long ago as well as the imc. good book. it uses specific language, making it less open to interpretation. boc0 -
Another good thing to get
is the Handbook for NFPA 54, it explains the code and interprets difficult sections. It also has Worksheets for various venting, piping and other sytems including air for combustion. Go to www.nfpa.org0
