    How to install boilers

I am interested in installing low pressure boilers for my customers and would like any information on training or books. I have been servicing and installing all types of forced air heating systems for 10 or more years. Looking to expand. THANKS!

They really are 2 seperate trades

where do we start? You need to start with basic books and courses offered here at BOOKS and More. I assume you can wire? Solder? Do yourself a favor go real slowly in to this. You should look in to getting licensed as such. Stay away from Steam boilers until you've mastered simple hydronics. Why the change? Do you realize how long it will take you to become competant enough to make $$$ at it? Good Luck Mad Dog

How ya doing buddy? Come on, this stuff is not rocket science. It's down right fun! I think everyone should try and learn as much as they can. Go for it, but do it right, we're all watching.

    New Boiler Installation

The advent of new and very efficient hydronic heating equipment, hydronic accessories, and the growth of interest in radiant heat has interested many contractors in the benefits of this technology. We welcome your interest. I suggest the best approach to the knowledge desire would be by contacting the I=B=R Hydronic division of GAMA for their upcoming classes and locations. They offer classes that cover both residential or commercial boiler installation training from people with years of experience in the industry. They are well presented, interactive, and thorough. Go to the web site www.bnp.com/conferences for class information. And....welcome to the industry. BH

  • Bill Herhold - have you actually

attended the IBR Hydronics Class that is presently being presented?
