Feast your eyes......
on these. Some background. 164K input. Boiler runs for 90 seconds. Taco 007 pumps driving Quik Trak loops of 290' to 320' plus 200 feet of S&R piping. A miriad of other issues. This one is going to test my somewhat limited abilities, for sure!!

Long lengths
I think i had a better one last winter. came to a job and they had what I could figure was about a 800' 1/2" pex run for their entire 2nd floor. Was staple up under the floor. Pretty nice huh.0 -
Just curious
What are he problems that the HO noticed?
How long did he suffer with this before he figured out that the system was messed up?
Is that Polybutylene pipe?0 -
Since the first Winter.
The owner notice the hardwood floor gapping and splitting, tiles and grout cracking, some floors so hot they couldn't be walked on and other rooms never get warm. The home was built in 2000 and there has been a parade of contractors, manufacturer's reps (tube and boiler) and a boiler factory guy.
To everyone who is considering taking the low bid........."While you don't always get what you pay for, you never get what you don't pay for."

Who did this
Was this done by the HO?
Or did he pay sombody for this.0 -
And...
there is no right way to do it wrong. Do it right the first time, or do it twice and pay, pay, pay...and be UNcomfortably broke.
Looks like the definition of comfort bankruptcy to me.
Good Luck HB

The first cut is the deepest
Price the repair, make it right and move on. Plenty of these installs in every area of the country.
I prefer to see the after pictures seems to attract more would be buyers!
