Of the newest truck, number 6.
Had it painted blue and then lettered and tommorow the shelves go in. This will be Chris's new ride. Should be alot nicer than the old 1/2 ton.
Ahhh that new truck smell .....

some of the fleet
My cousin came up with our logo years ago. I hated it, now .... not to bad.

Hey Chris looks like enough room for
a bed in the back of that thing. Looks great Scott, Hey the fleet is growing that is a good thing. Just one thing it would look a lot nicer with a BIG RED BOW.
Is there going to be a formal ceremony to present the keys to Chris????
Don't forget to thank Santa Chris.0 -
Hey Timmie....
Please don't give him any ideas! (he may just like that one)
Looks nice Scott! Fancy wheels too. Chris0 -
Nice truck, question
What type of truck is this and what is the box dimensions. Who makes the box. Would love to get a couple of theseinstead of vans next time. If I am not too forward...What was the damage assessment??

That smell.
Great Truck!
I like the fact that the cab is separated from the cargo area. Nice not to have to ride with the sewer machines, especially after mucking out a restaurant grease trap line. Plays hell with that new truck smell!

Spartan
Those look like very nice billboards for your compay Scott vedy nice. That box is from Spartan we have 1 from them with tool boxes built into the outside it is fiberglass so it won't rust way better than a regular van. Not a big diffence in cost compared to a regular 1 ton and weigh better to work out of. I have to put up a picture of our Sprinter that is the van if you put on lots of miles we get 21MPG!!!!0 -
Thats what I was thinking we
need to run 1 ton vans because of the weight of parts, etc. 90% of our service is oil. We have a box truck 14' with a lift gate for installs. So these would be stricktly service and a small install once in a while....Would love to have no vans eventually.

Another question...
Are they dual tires in the back? What is the weight rating?
Thanks

Got a quick glimpse this morning.
I think it will be WAY better than the 1/2 ton! The box has been stretched just a bit from when #4 was built, and I believe it is 10'4", so the ten footers fit in without using the door to the cab, which the old one has. I've even seen an electricians van with a 4"pvc pipe and cap cut into the back so they can fit sticks of emt, luckily this one won't need them.
It's going to be nice to standup in a work truck, that's for sure! I wish I had a dime for every time I slid my back down the top latch on any regular van.Best advantage...Not slamming my head every time crawling in.
Bins at eye level...What a concept. Still picking out the shelving arrangement, but think we've come up with something that will work nicely, and still leave plenty of room for incidentals.
Thanks for the new truck Scott. I will make the best use of it I can. Chris0 -
truck
I like that logo, it's original0 -
box
about 3 years ago I went to a 10' box 1 ton van very similar to yours could never go back to a service van.
I keep it load with parts (you can never carry enough) and still have room to stand up like a man as opposed to crawl around like an ape in a standard van. enjoy0
