Granulite Source???

I was really hopeing that one of you US guys could help Dan out. I have found info on Granulite and have sources here in Alberta. But Dan needs something in IOWA. Can anyone out there help this man out?

If Granulite is not avail in your country, What alternate are you guys using? Standard Gravel with Styro Insul?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.. thanks in advance...

Granulite source

Hello,
I am building a new home near Des Moines Iowa. I would like to insulate under my basement slab. I have been considering using granulite insulating gravel under the slab, but I have not been able to find a source. Does anyone out there have anyu information on sources for insulating gravel?
