in THE MAIN WALL
in DANS book I got steam it says if the pressuretrol pigtail is installed looking at the pressuretrol you can see through the donut this is incorrect,does anyone know what effect this will have on my heating system

    the pressuretrol will not be accurate

    When the pigtail expands the pressurtrol will not be accurate. But thats only if it is the type with mercury in it

    If you have the type with...

    the clear front and the mercury switch, it'll rock left and right as it heats and cools, which tips the mercury at the wrong time.

    If it's the grey box snap switch type, it makes a lot less difference.
