We do offer
seperate plumbing parts, but I need to know which valve body you are using and what size. We have union nuts for 1/2,3/4 and 1" and external NPT tailpieces for the same sizes. Available from any Honeywell distributor that carries Braukmann.0 -
bill. I have 3/4 and 1/2 these valve bodies are thw high capacity as I was told by the wholesaler, I Think they are v1100e. I asked the wholesaler if they made the tailpieces in longer lenghths .He said he never saw them .Let me know if they do .0 -
Thermostatic Valves
Don't know if you have them over there but what we use over here some times in suituations like that is m&f sockets to extend the length. Can be a bit tricky sometimes though. The brass m&f are shorter than the old galv ones so if you have both it's a matter of sometimes using one or the other. Another way if you are coming though the floor is to put an offset in the flow riser. or put an oval hole in the floor that can still be covered by the floor plate. Not so easy when the pipe is in the wall.0 -

M & F sockets
What do you mean 'What are M & F sockets?'
A M & F socket is what it's name says Male thread on one end and female thread on the other end, I have one here in my hand, brass 30mm long female end is a hex brass the other end turned down to have a male thread will give an extention of about 15mm
The problem with brass ones are that if you are a bit heavy handed it is possible to break them off. I preferr the galv ones only 1) Very hard to get nowdays 2) they tend to be a bit longer than the brass ones so you gain more. This can be an advantage and a disadvantage depending on how much you want to gain. You can get them in most sizes up to 1 2/2" or 2". As with all brass/chrome fittings I ruff up the thread to allow the hemp to grip and not just slide off as I screw it into the Female thread.
Guess an advanced country like the US will have something similar only you call them something else.
PS Please don't shout, I'm not deaf? Stupid maybe yes but not deaf.0
