on a steam system that is a classic perimeter loop setup which way should the loop piping slant?

  • If it drips down to the boiler at the far end, it would pitch...

    away from the boiler.

    If the far end isn't dripped, it would pitch back down to the boiler, with the far end the high spot. This is counterflow, and would be a pipe size bigger for the same load.
