System Design by radiantdirect.com

I'm looking to install a system designed by Radiantdirect with the Trinity Wall Hung Boiler. Are there any problems with reliability of the Trinity? I want to go with a indirect storage tank instead of the Trinity for hot water.

Going with 2 loops in the slab for the basement and under floor mounting for 1st and 2nd floor.

    Make sure...

that they perform a heat loss calculation for your prior to purchasing anything. I'd also recommend the use of a buffer tank with the boiler. It doesn't throttle back much for micro loads. Also, make sure they specify tube with an oxygen barrier. The warrantly on the heat exchanger is void if it appears to have been exposed to oxygen.

    Service

Before you install this equipment, figure out who you are going to have service it when it quits some day...... or night..... or holiday. In other words, is there anyone locally who carries parts and services what you are buying. Any amount of money you may save can look pretty insignificant when faced with a boiler that won't run and nowhere to get help. I'm not trying to discourage you from this in any way. I appreciate that you want to do this yourself. There have been countless times when I have been asked to service a piece of equipment that there are no parts available for locally. Just some food for thought.
