I have steam traps manufactured by Illinois Engineering Company. Can any one tell me where I can find replacement heat elements?
If not, can someone tell me where can replacement trap that will work without cutting up my hard wood floor in order to re-pipe?
Please help me by taking a look at some of the following pictures the dimensions are included.

As Kevin stated, Barnes and Jones does make replacement thermostatic elements for many Illinois steam traps. Most will also require buying a new cover. The URL, however, is different that what Kevin posted. Hope this helps.
