Thanksgiving & Christmas - all wrapped up! (PAH)

Last Sunday, the local paper ran a story on a couple. They run stories each year at this time detailing hard luck cases, but this one was somewhat different.
Mother dying of cancer, father losing his 23-year job, insurance about to disappear and the daughter making decorations for her mother's casket. Damned sobering stuff.
One twist - their plumbing is leaking.
Enter an angel. A former employee's wife (he's now a salesman for a local supply house) read the story too and decided she couldn't stand by without getting involved. Well, when Joelyn decides to get involved - everyone gets called to action!
We met on the job site today to survey their needs. The homeowners couldn't be nicer people. Hugs all around. I'm pleased to say that York Corrugating will be donating the plumbing goods, we members of the York County PHCCA will be donating the labor and let me tell you, that plumbing will shine!
Joelyn hasn't stopped there though & she's already arranged with Toys R Us and Walmart to get this child the gifts she's asked for from Santa. SHHHhhhhhhhhhh(G)
New flooring and walls will be included too.
Ain't it amazing how one person can affect change? Joelyn is earning her wings this year.
