Go to a plumbing supply house and buy a pressure guage, say 0 too 50 psi and get and adapter to hose connection for it. You can the screw it on any hose type connection around the boiler and read pressure.

How to check pressure
I have my house and my mother's house to worry about. How can I check the pressure, I just don't trust the pressure gauge, and my mother's boiler the plumber that installed the new boiler four years ago damaged the pressure gauge and this gauge is connected on top of the boiler surrounded by the cover that goes around the boiler, it is a major job to change it now.Thanks.0 -

pressure guage
Is this a steam boiler? Pig tail says you have a pressuretrol. Thats on steam. Write down the information on the boilers plate. Brand name, serial#, Input and output. If you have the instruction manual call the manufacturer and maybe they can send you one and then have a licensed plumber put it in for you. I hope this will help you. Travis0
