Pump Sizing

Member Posts: 2
I'm replacing an old hot water boiler that has 2 zones (2 pumps & flow controls, 1 series 100 and 1 1/6 B&G) The new system will have one pump and 2 white rogers 2 wire zone valves. What's the best method for sizing the new pump? System has 3 3/4" copper baseboard loops on 1st floor and 2 3/4" copper baseboard loops on 2nd floor.
Thanks,
tom

Tom, It is math
The pump has to be big enough to handle the gph for all zonez and heads. Head is determined by the length of the loop, and the fittings in it. Gpm should be enough to fit the length of the BB in btu's Look and buy Books and More or other places on the left. Good luck0
