Find a professional

I just recieved an e-mail this morning, from a customer, who found me in the find a professional (find a contractor) section of Heating Help. In part her e-mail says, "Thank you so much for figuring this problem out for me. It's hard to believe that a few minor adjustments such as radiator pitch and air valves could make such a big difference in the way steam heat works. What's even harder for me to believe is that it took me 5 years to finally find someone who really knows how steam heat works and knows how to correct the issues instead of telling me to "just put in a new system" as the others before you did."

Its nice to know when your work is appreciated. The best part is, I recovered all of my cost of the find a contractor listing, on one job. I also got a call from a homeowner who had no heat on his steam boiler, i repiped his boiler, and he told me that the house has never been more comfortable. And I will be looking at another "problem boiler" that replacement was reccomend for on Monday. 3 good quality, fun jobs, that paid, from one listing.

This is just since early October. I also got a 10,000 square foot radiant job, along with 4 bathrooms and two kitchens last year (all the same building). The return on investment on that job was over 30,000% in gross sale. (yep, that says Thirty Thousand percent)

This has paid off very well for me, and I tend to think most of these people would have gone elsewhere if I wasn't listed.

    Question, Dan

Used to be that you typed in a zip code and up came the 10 closest professionals. Now I noticed that if there isn't anyone within 100 miles, no names show up.
