noisy steam system

Hi i repiped a steam boiler on wedsday it had no hartford loop and a very poor header now its piped as per directions there is some banging noise where condensate hits the live steam in pipes feeding the second floor the pressuretroll is set for 1 1/2 psi would converting system to vapor help this problem ?

    if there are sagging pipes they are in the walls and between floors

    falling of the pipes from the new steam "cleaning " the pipes and causing the condensate to puddle? kpc

    Hi Ed, if you think it's too much condensate, all at once, venting that run slower will make condensate slower. That might help figure out what's going on, even though it will mess up your balance a little.

    Once you make it quiet, you can see what you did to the balance.

    Is the riser, and the runout from the main, big enough for the edr connected to it, times 1.33?

    I bet it's venting really fast. Pipe sizes that lasted 75 years are pretty well tested over the years.
