Yesterday I was in a plumbing supply store to get some insulation for my steam pipes( hard item to find)
I asked the clerk to show me a Gorton#1 and he comes out with a huge valve as thick and the same size as fifty CDs stacked together is that right or he was BS me.

That was probably a Gorton #2

the #1 is about the size of a stack of silver dollars.
