installed my 1st dropped header today on a burnham gas boiler 1 question i have is what about condensate getting trapped in the dropped header ?

condensate trapping??
I think from the pics, the hartford loop is off the back of the header and if you pitch from front to back all condensate will dripp down the hartford.0 -
That's correct
sometimes it doesn't show up in our pics, but the header always pitches down toward the equalizer. If you look at this one real close, you can just see the pitch.

Welcome to the drop header club !!!
Ed post us a pic when you can love to see it, the guys are right the lower leg of the drop header pitchs towards the equilizer, the drop header makes it so much nicer to pipe and looks real good to , its all i do now.....David0 -
