Sounds like a drip?

Can anyone tell me what might be causing a constant drip- like sound coming from my boiler? I looked for water thinking it may be condensation dripping from the flue but found nothing. The "dripping" is there even when the boiler has been off for a while.
Thanks
Thanks

May simply be expansion and contraction of some of the near boiler piping around the boiler rubbing up aganst some wood or something. If theres no water, theres probably no leak.0 -
Thanks Dana, I will look at that possibility.0 -
