Spelling? Alot of them in multi story condos, no problems if not limed up, I would check the warranty very closely if you have hard water and don't plan to soften.

anyone out there installing instant (tankless) full house residential water heaters? please let me know what brand you are using. how good or bad they work. are they easy to install? does the home owner like them? would you put one in your house? what happens if you have a hard water problem and not using a water softner?
    thanks for your input.

    whole house water heaters

Have been installing Rinnai Continuums with excellent results. Yes I would put one in my has if I had gas (not the kind I generate), but I'm an oil guy to the hilt.....(at home anyway)

    I needed more BTU's

for my heat exchanger in order to heat my pool. I installed a Takagi "Aquastar 240" in series with my water heater. It did the job on the pool and for the first time since we moved in (1975) I was able to take a shower immediately after my wife. Even with a 50 gallon, gas, she would use it all and I'd have to wait.

I installed it in June and although that's not very long, there have not been any problems.
