Munchkin Vision \"jalcoplumb\"

I had been called to active duty and have been out of the loop for a while.

I will be installing a couple of munchkins w/ 925 control. What can I expect from this control? Can any one give me a preview. I will be attending the Vision class at a local supply house next week.

One install has radiant w/ super stor and one zone baseboard. What can I expect from this control. Will I get outdoor reset? DHW priority? multi zone control? multi temp control?

Just looking for some feed back.

    Munchkin

Thank you for your service to all of us.

  • Joseph,

I also want to thank you for your dedicated service to this great country. Welcome back.

The guy you want to talk to is Jeff (Munchkin Man) Cook. I haven't used the Munchkin yet. I'm waiting till someone asks me to put one in. By that time I won't be the first around here to use the new control. New controls worry me a bit.

    Laptop?

    Dave,

Does it have laptop interface capabilities that I am unaware of? Is this just a feature of the "Vision" control? I sell the Peerless Pinnacle and I am certain that I do not have laptop capabilites.

    Regards,

    PR

    yes

and you can do real time data logging. The entire history of the little beastie is available too. Outddor + indoor reset all in one.

I looked at a church job today. 1930's technology - boiler maintaining 24/7. Bang it's on - bang it's off. With new controls coming shortly, the Munch will have cascade capabilities - multiple boilers with individual management - replace the 1930's stuff with new age hi-eff products and slash fuel usage. Toss in a modem for remote monitoring & that's some cool beans!

They want zoned chilled water too to replace their many RTU's. It'll be a fun challenge.

    Welcome home soldier.

    Peerless Pinnacle does not ....

have a laptop interface last I herd. They are using the old munchkin control board. I think that was the deal, they don't have access to the better control.

"last I herd" was a while ago.
