For quite some time we have been talking about our friend in Vermont and his open systems. In the past I have told customers and others that in the State of Connecticut it is illegal without using some type of heat exchanger. Well I had a customer recently that told me he couldn't find it in the code book and asked me if I could look it up for him. Well, it's not in the code book. It's in the Public Health Code. So those of you in other states that have been battling this problem check your Public Health Code. I've attached the Connecticut code.
