The home has one pipe steam with two main runs.
At the end of each run are main vents.
One run has the old 75 and the other was replaced with
a new A4 qwick vent. I am thinking they should be the same ?
I have replaced all vents on the radiators with A1s. The house heats evenly and the boiloer pressure never rises but the last radiator in the run with the old 75 vent does not
cycle it just vents. The home is 70 years old and is know
a 250.000BTU gas boiler. Which vents works best with gas

we need to know the diameter of each steam main, and how long it is from the boiler to the point where it goes into the return line. Then we can tell you what vent you need on each one.
