Heard about a product called Thermoflow that is used in England to save Gas-oil by putting it on the oil or gas line with plastic ties. It Is some sort of magnet? Any ideas as to why this would work?

I saw something like that on Ebay
But I couldn't find it again tonight. It supposedly uses superconductors to break down hydrocarbon chains as the fuel flows by. Haven't seen it in any trade magazines. Could be a gimmick.
