Non Electric Zone Valve

with much success. I even put them in my own house. Here's what one looks like.

That said- if this is an old gravity system that now has a circulator pump, the pump may have gone bad. This would only allow a small gravity circulation, which would go straight to the top floor. The cure would be a new circulator- go to

to size the new one.

You could add the TRVs too even if the circ was bad, this would give you that much more flexibility.

    Non Electric Zone Valves

Anyone had any experience with these...
    My issue is:

Three story house plus a basement. Hot Water Gas Boiler system with ONE Zone for all three floors...Thermostat is on second floor.

Second floor is comfortable, but third floor is unbearably hot.

I have two radiators on the third floor. I need to regulate the temp of those two radiators, but can not afford to put in another zone.

Many thanks...Now if I can just find someone on Center City Philadelphia to install a couple of these that would fix my problem...

    Any Suggestions?
