    Timer

If you ordered it from Lennox it should be the same as the old.

Probaly get an electronic conversion kit

I ordered a replacement timer for a HP20 about a year ago, and was sent an electronic defrost timer kit. all I can say is READ THE DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY !!!!!!!! I read the directions twice and still wound up making one wire connection error. You also may even have to install a 1/4" pressure tap (included) depending on exactly what unit you have.

    Don't bet on it!

I went through what the other post found (actually kits not exact replacements are common with Lennox) and Lennox had a very expensive kit to replace the timer with a solid state board. Seems to me the customer said dispose of the old heat pump rather than put that kind of money in it.

    Just remembered

that I replaced the timer on a HP18 about 3 years ago ( was 30 degrees outside so my subconscience is trying to forget) and they sent me an electroinc defrost board kit that replaces the timer, pressure and temperature sensors, and adds a relay, requires wire modifcations all over the place including the exesting relay, and you will have to braze a line tap onto the unit for the new pressure switch. I believe I wound up charging over $500 for this and three hours+ of time. Probably won't be worth it.

And as it turned out a year and a half later the outdoor coil blew out and the unit had to be replaced.
