new steam install pics
here's a new steam install that Gerry Gill and I just finished. Still tring to figure out this camera!0 -
The work is awesome and the pictures are top notch as well, keep up the great work, we'll keep watching and learning!0 -
That looks as good
as anything Noel, Mad Dog, Dan Foley, Boilerpro or I have done. Beautiful!
I don't recognize that boiler though, what make and model is it? Also, what type of system (one-pipe, Vapor, etc) is it?

It looks like a Utica to me. I am in the process of bidding rework on an improper install of a Utica.0 -

ECR Boilers
You are correct Steve, the Utica version of the D247 is the JC Series Commercial.

That is one of the
finest drop headers I've seen . How was it working the flanges ? I bet a little easier with the extra " swing " in the header . I also like the skim piped to a drain in the floor . Very convenient . And what is that - a 3 inch by 3/4 coupling to add cleaner ? You made it so easy to maintain , the homeowner might not need service , ever . Beautiful job Steve and Gerry .0 -
thanks for the compliment
flanges are great, fit together nicely and hardly a leak. yes that reducing coupling with a cap makes us a nice little funnel for chemical fill or adding cleaners.we like piping the skim tapping with a valve to make it easy to do the maintainance0
