Hydro Air / Boiler / Hot Water Systems

Building a 2 story 3200 sf center hall colonial, 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bath in Putnam County, NY. Have a bonus room above garage that may become mother-in-law apartment with kitchen & bath - will just be roughed in for now. Started getting prices for plumbing and heating contractors - everyone seems to have different ways of doing it. Looking for a system that balances efficiency and cost.
Planning on using hydro air - (2) separate units - 1st floor & 2nd floor, both with zone dampers.
What size hot water heater is recommended? Getting all different sizes on this from 60 to 100 gallons. Most likely (4) people - my wife and I and if lucky 2 kids!
Now onto boilers. Direct or indirect? Plumbers been pricing Burnham or Weil McLain. One contractor proposed a 4 section Burnham. What should I know about the number of sections in a boiler? Any recommendations?
How many oil tanks? 1 or 2? What sizes?
I know using the same ducting for heating and cooling isn't the ideal situation. Any recommendations on supply and return placement? Upper or lower walls? In the ceilings?
Any recommendations on sizing main distribution plumbing for domestic hot and cold water? 3/4", 1", 1.25"?
Last but not least. Is there anyone interested in giving me a price?
Thanks for any words of wisdom. Really appreciate it.
