Steam Boiler Question

Steam does not carry any corrosion abilities, per say. However the air in the system mixed with the condensate usually produces carbonic acid, and that usually eats away at the in side of the piping. Usually on the bottom of the pipe. Making sure that the air vents are big enough and working properly wiil and should take care of removing the air and help stop this kind of corrosion. If all the air is removed quickly there remains a vaccum, and vaccum's are not corrosive. I'd guess I'd say " Get the air out"

Steam Boiler Question
I have a client with some internal corrosion on his piping and he does not believe in water treatment. Can a sacrificial anode be used in a steam system? I was thinking of installing it in the boiler feed tank
Thanks
