Leaking panel rads- Anyone?

Runtal rads. Radson and Buderus mainly. We teflon tape the thread and use Leak Lock on top of that. Haven't had any problems that I would call abnormal. A drip here and there after they've been cycled a few times. (we always!, go back and check) Just started using that new thread sealing string from Loctite. Looks like that is going to work very well indeed. See if you can find some of that in your area.

Leaking panel rads- Anyone?
I've been having problems lately with keeping the connections leak free on 2 panel radiators I've installed. Is there a trick I don't know about? What works for you?
Wick?, dope?, teflon tape?, spin it on with your Rigid 300?
It could be the valves I'm using (Caleffi) but I wanted to hear from others.

Panel Rads
What brand are you having trouble with? Are they bottom connection or side? Are they leaking on the rad or pipe side of the fitting?0 -
Runtal. Side tappings. Spud connections. I think the spud has a running thread.
