unfrequent banging noise in hot water system

I have a question. Have a boiler that has been installed 2 years ago. It is a Slant Fin cast Iron with Underfloor throughout the house. There is a periodic noise about once a week that sounds like 2 pipes clanking it is brief but loud. I purged the system and got hardly any bubbles.
I have been reading about lime buildup and I was unaware of any problems with lime buildup with cast iron boilers. Could someone please give me some advice on what they think the noise is coming from.
Thanks,
Jeff

Any Thoughts Banging in HWS
Do you have thermostatic Rad valves? If so check that the flow is not the wrong way though them.0 -
Wow
Arthur, good call.
Also, are there zone valves, and if so, whos?
