I stepped outside a few minutes ago
and for the first time in months there are fighter jets crisscrossing the skies above Washington DC. I can hear them as I'm writing this. It gives me the willies, I'm telling you. Keep your fingers crossed.
I have a question about Rinnai tankless HWH. They have ten burners and three gas valves. The first valve goes to two burners, the second valve goes to the next three burners and the third vavlve to the next five.
The simplest control for the valves is 2, 5, and 10 burners. The most versatile is 2, 3, 5, 7, 8 and 10 burners.
Does anyone know how they control the gas valves? Their tech literature doen't say.
Thanks for any info.

answer, not more pics
To answer ( or try to) your question about Rinnai and gas valve control, it's done through the microprocessor. The unit reads the temperature drop across the heat exchanger and automatically increases or decreases the heat input dependent on rate fo flow and temperature drop....exactly how that is done will always be beyond this simple nuts and bolts kind of guy, but that's how it was explained to me at the training seminar.
Have several of them installed and no problems whatsoever.
