I heard the story this morning about a kid who helped out a fellow student who was having a asthmatic attack during school. The victim didn't have her inhaler (or access to it) and the boy, knowing that he used the same medication, let her borrow his. He was arrested and faces criminal charges as well as expulsion from school for carrying a controlled substance. My guess is that he didn't give the medication to the school's nurse which is usually standard operating procedure.

I understand policies but c'mon, this kid is facing punishment for possibly saving someone elses's life. It is a paranoid world we live in. Sad.

    It is DISGUSTING what is going on in this country with these frivolous lawsuits and asinine pretzel logic. Wanna read a great book.
