Can anyone tell me anything about a Thrush No. 115 Flow Control Valve?

    Flow-Control Valves

also known as Flow-Checks (Taco's version) keep water in a hot-water heating loop from circulating by gravity. This lets the boiler heat up (as for a tankless coil, indirect heater or another zone) without the heat going where it isn't needed.

It also keeps the water from moving backwards when another zone calls for heat.

No. I mean specifically the no. 115. I found it on top of an ancient Delco Appliance boiler. It doesn't look anything like a modern day fcv, has a tapping for the expansion tank and a couple of other mysterious protuberances on the sides. Perhaps one of these unloads the check for gravity flow? Anyway, if anyone has seen anything like this old guy, let me know what you know.

have a lever on the side which you can move to manually open.
