I had to use one Tee! This was built with the REMS Curvo and a T-Drill. An outdoor wood furnace feeds into the loop, A HW tube HX, and some spare taps for a back up heat source.

are two globe or gate valves on the loop...all other valves are ball type...these are for the back up heat source...why not the BV? As always very cutting edge stuff! kpc

    Boy...

can you imagine the look on that 1st year hydronician that's never seen P/S pipings, face...

"What the... Ain't none of them pumps thats pumping water to anywhere.."

Great job HR! Now, you need to work on air removal and elimination. If'n it were me, and I had the tools and skills you've got at your disposal, I'd tak a 6" piece of 3", and braze caps onto both ends. One high and one on the opposing end low. The gozinta would be high, and the gozouta low. In the very middle, you could use your T-Drill to tap for the Expansion tank, and on top for the A.V., and if'n you were pressed for space, you could turn the whole assembly side ways, install a 3" fitting brush inside of the 3" pipe, and have yourself a micrbubble aglomulater/expeller.

It IS a good thing you and I don't live real near each other :-) Our wives would be worse Wall Widows then they are now:-(

Can't wait to see what colored insulation scheme you work up for this baby!
