Has anyone seen the Kitec video of their procedure for installing 1/2" Kitec in a joist installation? I have, and am wondering if anyone has tried it on a job, and how did it go. Looks pretty impressive for an amazing tubing,IMHO.

I live in Montreal Canada...we have been using Kitec for a few years here. Wasn't too thrilled at first but the stuff is okay once you get the hang of it. Done a few boilers with it. Also great for fishing a new line in to a rad or just an old water line. You don't have to open everything up. So far no call backs except for some regular maintenence stuff. I am a little older than most here, wasn't too crazy about copper on a boiler either. Kitec also has low fiction. the bad thing is it comes in large rolls, need space ...which is not found in too many basements.

    I have

used that method, and it works great. It goes really smooth with two sets of hands until you get the hang of it.
