Anyone have experience with tankless or instantaneous water heaters? They draw upwards of 28kw and have no standby heat loss. Flow controlled switching makes them "on demand". I'm thinking of the "whole house" type that replaces the 60 gallon traditional water heater. Does the house lighting dim when the thing kicks on? Can a shower be run at the same time the dishes are being done? Have they got the bugs out of them? Any anecdotes would be appreciated. Thank You in advance.
