But still . . .

I'm speaking to Chicago MCA about hydronics this week. Nice setting. Internet access isn't the best, though, so if I'm not answering you right away that's why.

We be jammin'!
Retired and loving it.

Why are you sitting at a computer?

If you like sailboating, there's a really nice day or sunset one over on the east end, at Red Hook. I think it was called "New Horizons". Big boat, very friendly crew, great scenery, non-stop drink concoctions, buffet, snorkel gear included and they take you to very remote reefs. Hope you get better weather to enjoy these types of things!

rent a power boat and really see the islands

    Dan,
    Enjoy yourself.
When my wife and I were there we rented a powerboat and circled both St. Thomas and St John. Then went to other islands. We went snorkling by ourselves. It was awesome. The views almost anywhere are better than the organized places like the island in the park on St. John for example. I forget the name of the island. The tourists have destroyed must of the coral but it is still worth looking at.

If you do rent a powerboat pay attention the coral reef map as it gets pretty shalow in places and you don't want them to have to come get you.

Also be sure to take a look at the roof collection systems that collect the water for domestic usage. It is all filtered somewhat and they stored in huge tanks located under the buildings mostly. Sometimes you can see them next to the houses. From what I was told no water can be gotten from the ground there. Either they catch it on their roofs or it is imported. So in dry weather they need to conserve.

    See you.

    That's MY kind of place...

I could open a solar DHW heating company there in a heart beat!

Been there (St.Thomas), done that (Snorkeling etc), want to do it again real soon...

Hope you and TLM had a wonderful time Dan.
