Man, another homeowner sucking on tinfoil covered walnuts without consulting a professional. When will they learn?

I recommend that you seek professional help immediately!

    You need...

di-electric socks! In lieu of di-electric socks, you could use yellow brass slippers and avoid the same situation. Also, if you used lead foil instead of aluminum foil, the electrolytic charge would be reversed, and the tingling would be in your lips!

Maytell you better call in a pro.

Duncan! Can you help this person out?

    Stray capacitance

I agree, call in the pros... This one might better be handled by Dr. Science.

But I do have a question for c-rex.

If you suspend yourself from the ceiling with an insulator like braided rubber bands or bungee cords, so your feet are not touching the floor while you're pressing the reset, do you still get the tingling?

If you do, try re-positioning the rubber bands around your neck. The tingling will eventually stop.
