I just had my radiant floor installed over ceramic tile but I can feel the heat in my floor joists (or ceiling in my basement). What should I insulate with for best heat gain into my radiant floor space. What r value or what product??? Thanks again.

Insulation
I'm hoping you had the radiant installed UNDER the ceramic tile.
Heat moves in all directions so you need to insulate under the radiant to direct the heat upward. The rule of thumb is three time the R value under the floor as is on top of the radiant. We usually reccomend R-19 or a minimum of R-11 fiberglass batts.More is better with insulation.

Depends
on how the radiant was installed. If it's bare tubing in the joist bays,Yes.If it's in track no need.

Neither
Its in the mud job under the tile0 -
Fiber glass
or blown cellulose is fine. Skip the reflective barrier.
