    Vent sizes

    I'd put two Gorton #1 or Hoffman #75 vents on the short main, and a Gorton #2 on the long one. The Hoffman #4A is too small for either one.

    You want to fill the mains completely with steam in about a minute. These vents will do that.

    The Gorton #2 is the largest vent made today. If you can't find this vent in your area, go to
