First off, they hinder you in making the kind of money that you should for your artwork and expertise and they give hydronics a bad name. Second, I hear it over and over again that some people actually believe that Hydronic Heating Systems do not work and that they would go back to a furnace.
*A lesson in life is the hardest and worst lesson to get, because you don't get it until it is too late.
*If you REALLY want hydronics to grow in the U.S. the current system of boiler ratings must be changed. It seems either skewed to hot air or still entrenched in steam produced at "standard" atmospheric pressure
*What may help our trade, is a proper code (like the B214) that everybody must follow.
*When ever it comes to energy usage, I always like to look at anything that can lower consumption as an investment. Investing money into anything that allows you to cut down on the energy consumption is a definite investment that is guaranteed to earn you money one day. A Reset Control with DHW feature can pay for itself in many cases within the first 2-3 years. After that it is earning you money. Fuel will never be free and it is also NOT very likely that the prices will drop considerably anytime soon.
*Pardon my ignorance but what is the big deal about response time anyway? Do we really have the need to change the temperature that quickly and frequently to stay comfortable?
*It is a shallow brook that babbles but still water, runs deep.
*A chip on the shoulder indicates wood higher up
*Nobody has a monopoly on wisdom
