Riello gage question

Hello Wallies,

I don't use my Riello vac gage much, but one thing had me wondering, what's the gage in PSI for? What am I missing? Isn't one PSI equal to about 29"? Do I have the wrong gage?

Also, are the pressure gages pretty accurate? I've done about 5 new Riellos in the last month or so, and none of them are right on, makes me question the gage. Yes, it's got the liquid stuff in both of them.

Thanks for the help!

    I've worked with them

before, and yeah vacuum is also measured in PSI (negative)
but as far as those gauges go, they can go off calibration and eventually need to be recalibrated
