Iron & Beer Night reminder

from 4:30 until 7 or so we'll be having Iron & Beer night at the Little Bethpage Heating Museum, which is at 5 Station Plaza in Beautiful Bethpage on the Isle of Long. Come as you are.

We'll have lots of heating odditites to stare at, and cold beers to sip whist staring. There may even be some stale pretzels.

If you choose, you may also play Toss the Boss with The Lovely Marianne. My books are for sale at the regular prices, but if you win the coin toss (you get to call it) then the books are free. If you lose, you pay the normal price. And then TLM tosses you onto the railroad tracks. She's small, but she's wiry.

You'll also get to see (and hear) my train set. Scale is 1=1.

If you're in the neighborhood, stop by and bring your stories.

Daughter Erin may also be there. She said she'll daughtergraph the books for you if you'd like. That woman sure has a way with words!
Retired and loving it.

Just rubbing shoulders with the crowd that's bound to be there would be worth the excursion. If I left right now and drove straight through I might have time for a quick shave and shower (which I'd need lest I get tossed on the tracks!)
I actually considered it though. I mean, the sign said Free Beer, right? But heating season is in full swing here and I can't go but please do post pics, huh! I'll eat my own stale pretzels and look at them through teary eyes. ;)
Sure it'll be a blast! Hope that you, Marianne and all who join you have a really great time.

    Cheers!

    Is it possible

that you could do one of these when it is NOT a "school nite"?

It's 3.5 hrs down, and 3.5 hrs back. Just once sir! Do it on a Friday!

I'll stay at MadDogs house! Hover on his lawn even!

But not on a school night Dan!
