We will be installing a Munchkin 80m next week.

Old levitt style home with the oil fired water heater located under the stairs.

I'll post pics.

\"I AM IN DESPERATE NEED OF....................

    AN ESTIMATE!"

That was a message left on my voice mail yesterday by a lady with no heat.

I suppose if I write really big and use lots of paper, the "estimate" might burn long enough to warm the house up a bit.

    Estimate

LOL. Funny how nobody gives the slightist thought to heating until the first cold snap. Then expect you are just sitting around twiddling your fingers waiting for their ph call so you rush over and warm them up LOL.
Gee and I thought it only happen to me.

    My favorite is

We need an estimate for work. Then I get there and the place is framed, wired, and the sheetrock is sitting in the room. " How soon can you do this ? ".

    Hahahhahahahahahah

I put an ad. in the paper years ago, in spring that said, " Thought winter was over, untill you got that last fuel bill. Now is the time to install a new system ". I got NO calls.

We once completely re-arranged our schedule to fire off a boiler for a local builder. It had to be done that day, and he was a large customer (although a slow payer).
We got to the job to find a crated boiler in an open, newly poured foundation. No pipes, no electricity, NO HOUSE.
Apparently, according to his schedule, it should have been done. After that, we sent out a runner to check out his situations before we jumped through hoops.

Some of these people kill me.......................

They call an tell you...when they want the job done. They think 3 days notice should be plenty. Gc's are the worst: had a guy that had me give him several estimates over the last year.....never actually get a job from him, and was incredulous that i refused to give him anymore estimatoes!!!!!..tried to give me a cute little lecture:"....you know, Matt, "we" don't always get the estimates we go on...thats; the way the business is...blah blah balh..." Oh well....Mad dog
