clanging pipes in heating season -- solutions and strategy
every time heating season begins in Boston, I get clanging pipes when I turn on the heat. It's worse when I use more heat. Is there a long term strategy, besides having the plumber come every year to blead the system? Is this a sign I need new pipes? What causes this? Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated.
