Wall-mounted boiler

We do a lot of small radiant jobs, quite a few of the around 1,200 [], 30,000 - 40,000 BTU's; have two of them now where I wanted to use the new Munchkin T-50 wall-mounted boilers, but HTP keeps on extending the arrival date and I have to seek an alternative.

We have also installed many Weil-McLain AHE boilers which work well; I'm in the mood to try some others.

Looking at Slant-Fin Prodigy 21, but don't have any experience with them. Has anybody installed one of these and can you tell me if you have been happy with them? Or perhaps you have another kind of wall-mounted boiler that you favor. Any input is appreciated.

I have had good luck with the Prodidgy. It is the same boiler as the Concept only a wall hung model. The Trinity is ok too but it comes in 150,000 and modulates down to 80,000.

There was an error rendering this rich post.

    Two today

    Hi Alan,
The Trinity has become my default boiler for lower loads in gas or lp. The control gives you outdoor reset and indirect program along side the operating program. The do require primary/secondary setup with a healthy primary circulator. Well worth a look although supply is often an issue. Enjoy....Dan

    Vitodens?

They arent cheap, but the Viessmann Vitodens 200 is very well made. I have installed quite a few and have had very few problems with them. The 6kW-24kW version would be perfect for that size job. Viessmann's coaxial vent is also quite easy to work with.

    Rinnai Continuum 2532 FFU Commerical

For low BTU loads these work out great. Will modulate down to 15kbtu. Use a primary secondary and give the primary a bit of vol. Use the formula GPM X Delta T X 500= BTU. At low BTU laods these work well. Check www.rinnai.us for installetion details etc. For the REcord, I represent Rinnai in New England, so biased, but...they work.

    Weil-McLain Wall Mount Boiler

I'm looking to replace my current boiler system with two W-M Ultra 155's. The home is in Colorado and just wondered if I'm putting in the best product for effeciency and price.

So I thought I would ask the experts. Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.
